MCA New Promethean Board

MCA recently purchased a Promethean Board that allows the students to interact with the displayed curricular concepts. In addition, this technological tool helps the teachers to instantly access the students' knowledge of the topics being studies.

Parents play "Are you smarter than a fifth grader?" during Open House/Family Literacy night.

MCA Students to Participate in Young Authors Conference at Cumberland

First grade student shares her book at Family Literacy Night

As each child developed their stories and books, several students from MCA were selected to participate in the Young Author's Conference held at Cumberland University on March 1, 2008.

All of the MCA student books were shared at Family Literacy Night.

Problem Solving Fridays

MCA will begin Problem Solving Fridays in January 2008. The children will spend an hour with the upcoming grade level teacher working on critical thinking skills with a focus on curricular content areas.
