All of our students receive enrichment
instruction in Spanish once a week. Veronica, our Spanish instructor,
holds a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish and is fully fluent in both
English and Spanish.
The music program strives to expand the
student's approach to music through listening, singing, and movement.
Introduction to musical instruments is an integral part of our program.
Our Music teacher, Sue Coble, holds a Master's Degree from Vanderbilt
University.
"All children are artists" is
a fundamental philosophy at MCA. The art room provides a setting
which encourages the students to feel comfortable and to explore
their natural love for art.
All students will use computer software
to reinforce and supplement curriculum in the computer lab. The
goal of our school in this area is to provide students with skills
which enable them to best utilize the ever changing technology in
this progressive world. All the computers in our computer lab are
equipped with blocking software to protect your children from inappropriate
internet content.
The goal of MCA's physical education program
is to instill the idea of health and fitness within each child.
Students receive basic knowledge of gross motor and fine motor coordination
with appropriate social behavior skills.
