Application and Health Record: Required by the State of TN. This must be turned in with your packet on registration day. Download the PDF Application

School Days & Hours: PreK 3 T/Th, MWF or M–F; PreK-4 T/Th, MWF or M–F; Kindergarten & Elementary & Middle School, M–F. School hours are 8:00 am - 2:45 pm. All students PreK-8th grade are expected to arrive at school on time. Our classes begin at 8AM. MCA asks that students be ready to begin their learning at 8AM.

Extended Care: hours are from 7:00 am – 7:40 am and from 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm. Extended care is $8.00 per day. A late charge of $3.00/5 minutes will be assessed past 5:30 pm.

Transportation: Parents are responsible for the children going to and from school. Parents are responsible for following the correct drop off/pick up procedures. Our primary focus is the safety of the children.

Health: Please do not send your child with a temperature, upset stomach, etc. This will greatly impact the other teachers and students.

Lunch & Snack: Your child will be able to buy lunch ($2.50) or they may bring their lunch. A lunch calendar will be sent home monthly. Please send a snack with your child. If your child will be in afternoon extended care, please include a second snack for after school. You may purchase snack milk by the semester or by the year.

Field Trips: The PreK-4, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle school students take an average of six field trips per year. Parents are ask to sign up to drive on two field trips. Student's code of conduct on field trips is expected to be reflective of school required conduct.

Purcell Complete Sentences: Before school begins, take time with your child to ask these questions. You may find it best to fill out only a portion at one time. Fill out only that which your child states in his own words. This is a tool for the teachers to learn more about your child.

Supplies: Your child will need a book size back pack, nap mat with waterproof bag/cover (PreK-K), and a complete change of clothes, including socks and underwear. Your child's teacher will provide you with a list of additional supplies your child will need.
