MCA's greatest mission is to provide our
students with a quality curriculum that encourages and challenges
the application and expansion of knowledge and interests.
The educational experience is fostered by a dedicated
community of students, faculty and parents. We believe that the
success of students depends not only on their physical and academic
well-being, but also on their emotional development. The emphasis
on good citizenship, Christian morals and values, respect, self
responsibility, and trustworthiness will be instilled daily.
The instructional delivery is to be accomplished not
only through classroom instruction, but also through the utilization
of technology and learning centers.
Pixie School started in the home of Edna Bennett in
the mid 1960's. Throughout the years, Pixie School has served Lebanon
with academic excellence. In the spring of 1998, Pixie Pre-School moved into the current location to enlarge the school to meet the growing needs of Lebanon. In 2006, the school became incorporated as McClain Christian Academy and received its 501c(3) non-profit status.
MCA currently enrolls students in areas of Pre-K through 9th grade with 10th through 12th grades being added during the next three years. In the Spring of 2008, MCA announced the unique educational partership with Cumberland University. The new MCA high school courses will be located on the campus of Cumberlan University. The McClain Christian Academy classes along with the collaborative efforts with Cumberland University will have a direct emphasis of college preparatory academics for the high school students.
McClain Christian Academy continously strives to meet the academic excellence for all students.
