McClain Christian Academy

Come See What Makes Learning Different

Our Philosophy–
MCA is committed to academic excellence in a Christian environment. MCA continually analyzes the curriculum so that the advanced academic courses are providing the students the best possible education. MCA is focused on providing students individualized instruction within the small class size ensuring that each student excels not only academically but socially as well.

Our Parents–
MCA Parents are involved, and that commitment to excellence has been a foundation of strength for the school. Our MCA/Pixie Parent Organization sponsors programs and ideas that foster school pride throughout the year.

Our Teachers–
MCA’s faculty is a source of great pride. The school has attracted some of the best in the United States. The teachers are part of a decision making team that assures a productive and successful learning environment for each child. Each teacher strives to focus on individualized instruction with enhanced lessons. MCA offers a combined educators’ experience of 250 years.

Our Students –
What makes MCA such a special place for kids? There is a warmth and a spirit of community that flows through every classroom. Students sense that they are genuinely respected and cared for, and they respond with appropriate behavior and an eagerness to learn.

Our Educational Programs–
Effective programs by Glencoe, Saxon, and A Beka are used to achieve excellence in all curricular components. Strong basic skills are acquired through expert classroom instruction and a well-rounded and proven effective educational format with a direct focus of individualized instruction.

Technology–
MCA realizes the impact of technology in preparing students to compete in a global economy. Technology is used as a tool to enhance not only instruction but student learning. With a stand alone lab for the PreK-K students, to a rolling lab of laptops for grades K-5, and student laptops to be used at school and home for the middle school students, MCA strives to prepare students for the ever changing world.

Our Extra Activities–
Art, Music, Spanish, and Computer are some of our students' favorite classes. Each are separate classes taught by specialized teachers in that area. The parents appreciate the manners class as well. Of course, field trips top the list of favorite activities.

Registration–
Please register early to secure your child's enrollment. Current students and siblings of past MCA/Pixie students will have first priority.
